Will the deadline be extended?
The FutureReadyNYC section of the application has closed with no exceptions. Schools may still apply for CTE, AI Advancement for All, and College and Career Advising sections of the application through the end of the day on March 12th at 11:59 PM.
Who should complete this from my school?
Anyone who has familiarity with career-connected learning across the school or has access to individuals across the school who lead each component of pathways work. Your principal will need to sign off on the application before submitting, but it is up to you to determine the point person who fills it out.

When will I find out how much my school will receive?
You school will receive an estimate of your total funding allocation in late Spring this will be subject to change pending budget confirmation. You will get confirmation when the SAM is released in June/July.
If I am an FRNYC or CTE school, am I still eligible for the College and Career Advising SAM?
All schools should complete this portion of the application; however, FutureReadyNYC schools will receive advising funds via their FRNYC allocations.
Is there a place where I can access all information for this application?
Yes - this page will take you to a library of resources we have prepared for schools.
Should this be a joint process between multiple stakeholders?
Yes - Multiple people from the school should work together to fill out this application
Can you work on the application and save progress?
Yes - Just be sure to move forward to the next page of the application to save progress. If you use the same link again, it will open where you left off
Is this like reapplying for all of our programs and adding if we choose?
Essentially, yes. Although the only program you can add via the application is FRNYC. You can request to add new pathways if you are an existing FRNYC school. You can also indicate if you want to create a new CTE pathways, but the process for that will be separate.
Will I be told information about what funding can be used for?
It is safe to assume that allowable expenditures will either be the same or very similar to the existing SAM

Is this application open to charter schools?
We aren't currently opening funding to public charters beyond those already in FRNYC and CRMYA.
Does being a Title 1 school factor into the money that is allocated?
Funding is allocated on a per student basis; school economic need index is taking into account in weighting school applications.
How detailed will the budget application be and is it due now or later?
The spending plan is an estimate added as a question in the application.

Is this funding competitive? Will all school who complete an application be able to receive funds?
CTE, CRMYA and College and Career Advising SAM funds are not competitive; new FutureReadyNYC and AI will be accepted on the basis of application review and are competitive.
Will this application replace all older SAM applications like the College and Career SAM? Does this mean we can request additional funding through these SAMS?
Yes, this application will replace all other OSP SAM applications including the College and Career Planning Team's Advising SAM. This is the first year there is an application for CTE programs. There will be no change to the CTE supplement funding formula. This is not an application for new and additional funding.
Are elementary and middle schools eligible for any of these funding opportunities?
This is for high schools only; other funding may be available to elementary and middle schools through other sources.
Will we still have to submit a spreadsheet this year?
We won't be asking schools to submit a parallel spending plan this year. Schools will be completing questions in the application.
Will enrollment be factored in?
For the College and Career Advising SAM Allocation, enrollment is one of the factors used to determine funding amounts. For FutureReadyNYC, accepted or continuing schools are funded based on the total number of projected students who will be participating.
Can schools obtain funds for both College and Career Advising and AI Advancement?
Yes, schools can receive both
